Refund and Returns Policy

  • Items must be returned within 14 calendar days of receipt.
  • Products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition to qualify
  • Custom‑made or personalized jewelry (including resized or special‑order items) are not eligible for returns or exchanges
  • Estate and previously owned items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. 

In‑Store (Hot Springs) Returns

  • Customers may return eligible items directly at the Hot Springs store location within 14 days.
  • Returns must include all packaging and original documentation.

Online & Mail Returns

  • Online purchases or remote returns must be shipped back to the store at the customer’s expense, preferably via tracked and insured mail so the package is verified and delivered. 
  • Use adequate packaging—ideally original outer box, plus protective material—so that items arrive safely.

Refunds & Credits

  • Eligible returns are refunded via the original payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.).
  • If the item was a gift, the recipient will receive non‑refundable in‑store credit equal to the purchase amount.
  • Cash refunds are not available in-store—only online payments are refundable as processed.
  • Expect up to 7–10 business days processing time after receipt and inspection.

Exchanges & Defective Items

  • Any manufacturing defects can be exchanged within 30 days of receipt. Because many items are one‑of‑a‑kind, replacement items may not match exactly; customers may instead opt for in‑store credit of equivalent value.
  • Damage not due to manufacturing defects (e.g., wear and tear, resizing done by third parties) is not eligible for return or exchange.

Gift Returns

  • Gifts without a receipt are eligible only for in‑store credit or exchange.
  • Items must still meet return eligibility (unused, in original packaging). Worn or tampered items will not be accepted.

Cancellations & Order Changes

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 24–48 hours, so modifications or cancellations are not accepted once the purchase is placed.
  • If you wish to cancel a personalized or custom piece, contact the store as soon as possible; however refunds may not be available once production begins.

Items That Are Not Eligible:

  • Personalized items or custom jewelry (including resized rings, engraved pieces, diamond upgrades)
  • Gemstones or diamonds sold “as-is”
  • Damaged items from misuse or non-production errors
  • Estate and previously owned items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

  • In the event of a clerical error, advertisement mistake, or pricing discrepancy, Shannon’s Jewelers of Hot Springs reserves the right to cancel orders or issue a refund before the item ships. This protects both customer fairness and business integrity.
